Pretty dang good.
I bought this when it first came out and was mostly impressed by the AI. Now, it makes some stupid moves (folding when pot committed or when the odds are correct to call; calling with a horrible hand when the odds are incorrect; checking with top pair top kicker and a non-threatening board, etc.) but for the most part its good. Its better than my 17 year old brother, for instance. There certainly arent a disproportionate amount of bad beats. The game itself plays nicely given the limited interface. This game is excellent for getting out all that bad play before you hop online or out to the casino. You see a lot of flops and can put all those techniques you have been reading about into action without worrying about losing your shirt.
The games looks have improved significantly. The other features have not improved at the same rate. However, the creator of the game was very responsive to my e-mails and plans to incorporate many of my suggestions in future updates (Im sure they were suggested by others).
The stats are nice to have, but they are pretty limited (no hand history, etc.). Your money is basically unlimited so there isnt much motivation to always play your best.
***edit - the tourney crashing bug has been fixed! I have resumed playing the game. ***/edit.
I want to see a progressive mode where you start with $1000 and have to build up to the top.
New changes are nice but I want more. Still havent gotten 5$ of enjoyment.
